From March 2005 to present Maria holds the post of Professor of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, University of Rome “Sapienza” at the Hospital Santi Andrea.

Since March 2005 Maria holds the position of Professor of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology
at the University of Rome “Sapienza” at the Hospital Santi Andrea.
She enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Bologna in the academic year 1968-69
where she graduated in Medicine in 1975
In November 1975 she enrolled in the school of specialties in Pediatrics at the
University of Bologna, where she graduated in 1978
In 1983 she was admitted to the school of specialties in Physiology and respiratory diseases at the
University of Bologna where she graduated in June 1988. From 1991 she was appointed researcher
Career and Securities
Maria Pia Villa was named professor for teaching Pediatrics and performed such teaching for the academic years
1977/78, 1978/79, 1979/80, in the school of nursing in “Santa Maria della Vita” at the Maggiore Hospital in Bologna
Since 1991 to the present she actively participates in the Commissions examination for the Bachelor course of
Medicine and Surgery of the Pediatric Clinic at the Universita di Roma “La Sapienza”
She has been a professor of Pediatric Pneumology at the School of the Italian Red Cross, nellanno 1997
In the academic year 1993-94 she was appointed professor of “Semiotics Clinic” at the II School
in Paediatric Clinic, until the academic year 1998-99 when she was appointed professor of
Pediatric Bronchopneumology at the same school. A mandate she still holds
She was Professor of Pediatrics, from the academic year 1998-99, at the School of Specialization in Otolaryngology
Professor of Auxologia in 1998-99 at the School of Specialization in Sports Medicine
Professor of Pediatrics from 1998 to 2003 in Infant Respiratory Physiology at the II
Chair of Pediatrics, University of Rome “La Sapienza”
Lecturer, Pediatrician from 1998 to 2003 in the Degree in Medicine and Surgery, University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’

as the course in Nursing Pediatric for the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”
